About 67 Palestinians injured as a result of the occupation forces’ attack on them in Al-Aqsa Mosque

Occupied Jerusalem (ST): Dozens of Palestinians were injured this morning as a result of the Israeli occupation forces’ attack on them in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Palestinian Wafa Agency stated that the occupation forces stormed into the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque after dawn prayer and fired a barrage of bullets and poisonous gas canisters at the worshipers, injuring about 67 of them, including paramedics and journalists, causing damage to the mosque and smashing some of its windows.

The agency pointed out that the occupation forces were deployed heavily in the vicinity of the blessed mosque, evacuating most of the Palestinians from its courtyards and closing all doors leading to it in preparation for the entry of extremist settlers and conducting provocative tours inside it.

Yesterday, Israeli settlers announced their intention to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque in large numbers between the 15th and 22nd of this month, to carry out provocative rounds with the support of the occupation forces.
