Abkhazia strongly condemns Israeli aggression on Damascus

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia strongly condemned the Israeli aggression on Damascus, targeting the safe population and civilian infrastructure.
The ministry said in a statement: “The Israeli air force launched an air strike yesterday evening targeting a residential building in Mazzeh neighborhood in Damascus, where there are diplomatic missions of many countries, including the headquarters of the Embassy of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Syrian Arab Republic.
The attack resulted in the martyrdom of three civilians and the injury of three others.”
The statement stressed that “such unacceptable attacks, prohibited under international humanitarian law, must stop immediately,”
The statement added: “We are convinced that these aggressive acts will not lead to peace, but rather bring the world closer to a comprehensive war in the Middle East region.”
