Abdullahyan: The union of Middle Eastern countries fails the American plans

Tehran,(ST)- Special Assistant to the President of the Iranian Shura Council for International Affairs Hussein Amir Abdullahyan stressed that the union between the countries of the region will definitely defeat and thwart the malicious American policies in the Middle East.

Abdullahian, upon meeting today,the Russian Ambassador to Tehran Luan Jagarian, said that strengthening security and stability in the region is in the interest of both countries, Russia and Iran, and that cooperation between them at the regional and international levels contributes to strengthening stability, pointing out that Iranian-Russian cooperation in regional issues was positive, especially the fight against terrorism .

For his part, the Russian ambassador said that Moscow’s strategic goals lie in strengthening relations with Iran, including in the parliamentary field, stressing that cooperation between the two countries at various levels will continue to enhance their relations.
