On February 8th, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahian said that the West must take a serious and effective decision in the field of canceling the embargo imposed on Iran and prove its true departure from the failed policies of the previous US government.
During a telephone conversation with Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi, Abdullahian said: “All measures of embargo contrary to the nuclear agreement should be canceled and a serious step should be taken in the field of providing guarantees.”
Abdullahian stressed the need for Western parties to have a realistic vision.
For his part, the Chinese Foreign Minister said that America’s unilateral exit from the nuclear agreement led to damage to stability and bypassing Iran’s legitimate rights.
He said that cooperation and consultation during the Vienna negotiations and presenting reasonable demands and amendment proposals from the Iranian side enjoys the support of China.
