Abdullahian: The Palestinian resistance is a legitimate national liberation movement

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahian affirmed that the Palestinian resistance is a legitimate national liberation movement confronting a terrorist occupation entity committing genocide crimes against the Palestinian people.

In a speech before a number of United Nations officials, humanitarian organizations, religious institutions, university professors, and some foreign ambassadors residing in Geneva, Abdullahian said: “The occupying entity insists on not adhering to international humanitarian law, blatantly violating it, and committing crimes described by international law as war crimes, genocide, and crimes against humanity”.

He added: “The status of international humanitarian law and its legal and moral validity have been subjected to a very serious test, and international and legal organizations must not allow an occupying and apartheid entity to challenge and mock the dignity and credibility of international laws and regulations in the field of human rights”.

Adullahian considered that the lack of attention to the ongoing, clear, and serious Israeli violation of human rights constitutes an irreparable blow to the principle of sovereignty and validity of the international law.
