Abdullahian: Reducing tension in the region is linked to addressing the Palestinian issue

Tehran, (ST) – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahianon Wednesday affirmed that easing tension in the region is linked to addressing the roots of the Palestinian issue.

Abdullahian said in a speech today in the presence of foreign ambassadors in Tehran, and with the participation of the Syrian ambassador, Dr. Shafik Dayyoub, on the occasion of the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution: In light of the passage of more than four months since the genocide committed by the Zionist entity against the oppressed people of Gaza, war is not the solution. He pointed out that reducing the intensity of the war and tensions is linked to addressing the roots of the Palestinian issue, and Iran has registered its point of view at the United Nations.

Regarding the nuclear agreement negotiations, Abdullahian said: The Iranian government’s belief is firm in the path of diplomacy and nuclear negotiations and it has never distanced itself from the negotiating table and will never do so. He called on the United States to stop evading the fulfilment of its promises and commitments to the results of the negotiations that were going well.
