Abdullahian expresses Iran’s support for Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity

On November 7, Iran’s Special Assistant to the President of the Islamic Shura Council (Parliament) for International Affairs Hossein Amir Abdullahian expressed his country’s support for Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and in its war on terrorism in all its forms and names.

During a meeting in Tehran with the Syrian Member of the People’s Assembly (Parliament) and Deputy Chief of the Syrian-Iranian Parliamentary Friendship Association Abdullah Ragheb, Abdullahian praised Syria’s achievements in the war on terrorism in achieving security and stability in the region.

For his part, Ragheb pointed to the need to strengthen parliamentary and economic relations between Syria and Iran and activating the Syrian-Iranian Chamber of Commerce.

The two sides discussed ways to activate the work of the Syrian-Iranian Parliamentary Friendship Association in a way that reflects positively on the peoples of the two countries and rejected of any external interference in the work of the Syria Committee of Discussing Constitution.
