Abdullahian: Economic cooperation between Tehran and Riyadh will be stable

Tehran (ST): Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Amir Abdullahian announced that the newly appointed Iranian ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ali Reza Enayati, will arrive in the Kingdom to carry out his duties in the coming days.

“The Iranian ambassador is scheduled to settle in Saudi Arabia in the coming days,” Abdullahian said in an interview with Iranian state television, considering that the Hajj ceremonies this year were good. He added: “We will have stable economic cooperation with Saudi Arabia.”

Iranian officials inaugurated their country’s embassy in Riyadh on June 6, and on the same day Tehran announced the appointment of Ali Reza Enayati, former assistant to the Iranian Foreign Minister for Gulf Affairs, as Iran’s ambassador.
