Abdullahian at OIC meeting: United States bears responsibility for the occupation’s crimes against the Palestinians

Jeddah, (ST) – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said during the meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Jeddah today that the Zionist occupation’s continued occupation of Palestinian lands, expansion of settlements, committing mass murders, destruction of homes, detentions and torture, the occupation’s control of electricity and water sources in Palestine, and its violation of the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the holy sites are part of the crimes against humanity the occupation has been committing, stressing that these crines should stop.

He pointed out that the occupation committed a massacre in Al-Mamadani Hospital in Gaza and that Washington bears responsibility for all the occupation’s crimes.

Abdollahian confirmed that the Zionist entity, with the support of the United States, continues war crimes, crimes against humanity, ethnic cleansing, racial discrimination and genocide against the Palestinian people. He stressed that Washington bears responsibility for these crimes.

The Iranian Foreign Minister expressed his country’s strong condemnation of the Zionist entity’s attempts to forcibly displace Palestinians from Gaza Strip which constitutes a war crime and a crime against humanity that should be put to an immediate end.

He called on Islamic countries to sever their relations with “Israel” to confirm these countries’ rejection of war crimes and genocide committed and to impose political and economic sanctions on “Israel”.

Abdullahian added that there is an urgent need for opening corridors to send humanitarian aid to the besieged people of Gaza, sending a delegation from Islamic countries to Gaza with the aim of examining the humanitarian conditions, war crimes and genocide committed by the Zionist entity there.

“There is also a need for working to establish a legal team of jurists in the member states of the organization to provide legal protection for the Palestinian people”, he said

Abdullahian stressed that the Palestinian resistance operation “Al-Aqsa Flood” proved that the Palestinian cause  is alive. He stressed that Palestine after the Al-Aqsa Flood will be different from the one before it, affirming that the future belongs to the Palestinians.
