Abdullah: I call on all Syrians to participate in choosing whomever they deem appropriate to lead Syria in the next stage

 On May 19th, the candidate for the presidency of the republic for the Socialist Unionists Party, Abdullah Salloum Abdullah, called on all Syrians to participate broadly in the elections and choose whomever they deem appropriate to lead Syria in the next stage.

Abdullah stressed that the voter cast is like an arrow in the heart of terrorism and its supporters.

In an interview with Syrian TV, Abdullah said that the preventing of some countries, such as Germany and Turkey, the Syrians living there from participating in the elections, is a kind of terrorism because election centers are located in our embassies and consulates, and according to international custom and law, these embassies and consulates are considered Syrian land.

Abdullah: “On behalf of the Socialist Unionist Party, I nominated myself for this presidential position for the year 2021.”

Abdullah: “One of the conditions for accepting a candidacy for the presidency of the republic is that the candidate must obtain the support of at least 35 members of the People’s Assembly.”

Abdullah said: “Syria was subjected to the most horrific types of terrorism in all the provinces, but it was the harshest in Aleppo . The people of Aleppo were really patient. During this period I visited it while the terrorists ’shells were falling on the city and its people. Our people in Aleppo suffered from the terrorist bombs that were falling in their tens and thousands.People also suffered from water and electricity shortage.”

Abdullah said: “Aleppo is definitely victorious as long as there are people of this high spirit. Indeed, Aleppo has triumphed and Idlib will also triumph this is thanks to the bravery of our Syrian Arab army.Our people in Idlib will return to their homes to practice their work.”

Abdullah: “I call on Syrians abroad to participate in the elections and to hurry to the ballot boxes to cast their votes and elect whoever they see fit. The vote that the voter cast is like an arrow in the heart of terrorism and Syria’s enemies.”
