Abdollahian: Iran is committed to the Palestinian cause and it supports peace

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian renewed his country’s commitment to the Palestinian cause, stressing that Tehran supports peace in the region and opposes wars.

“Iran is committed to the path of political independence and balanced relations with the West and the East, and Iran is also committed to preserving the interests of its people,” Abdollahian said during a briefing to reporters, stressing that his country is on the right track in foreign diplomacy and defending Iran’s sovereignty.

Regarding the Vienna negotiations, Abdollahian made it clear that if America respects Iran’s red lines and takes care of Iran’s national interests, Tehran will not leave the negotiating table, as it proved this in the most difficult times of the recent strife that the country faced.
