A young man dies as a result of torture in the prisons of the SDF militias

On January 6th, the US-backed SDF militias killed a young man as a result of torture and the harsh conditions in his prison  the village of Tal Mashhen in the Yarubiyah area in the northeastern countryside of Hasaka,.

Local sources in the Yarubiyah said that a young man died in one of the SDF prisons .His imprisonment  lasted for three years, and his family was prevented from visiting him during the that period.

The sources said that the SDF militiamen practice harsh torture methods that they have recently begun to implement in their prisons, after attending courses with the American occupation forces.

 

On December 9th, two civilians kidnapped by the SDF militias from the towns of Tel Hamis and Al-Qahtaniyah in the Hasaka countryside, one of them an Arabic language teacher, died as a result of torture and harsh enforced detention conditions.

The SDF militias continue to intensify their raids and kidnappings in the areas, as they have kidnapped thousands of young men and forced them to serve in their ranks in recent years.
