A Woman Martyred in New US-Led Coalition Aggression on a Village in Deir Ezzor Countryside

DEIR EZZOR, (ST)- A woman was martyred and many other civilians were injured in al-Baghouz town in Deir Ezzor countryside as a result of a new US-led coalition aggression that targeted the area under the pretext of fighting Deash terrorists.

Local sources told SANA reporter that the warplanes of the “international coalition” led by the United States, purportedly against Daesh terrorist organization, shelled residential areas in al-Baghouz town and caused the martyrdom of a woman and the destruction of several houses and properties.

 Two days ago, the warplanes of the “International Coalition” fired several missiles on residential buildings in al-Baghouz town, claiming the lives of 3 women and 5 children, and injuring a number of civilians, in addition to causing damage to some of the locals’ houses and properties.

Since its establishment in 2014, the US-led coalition, which was formed illegaly without the permission on the Security Council, has targeted residential Syrian areas with heavy airstrikes that massacred a lot of civilians and destroyed infrastructure and vital facilities in these areas. The coalition airstrikes also caused almost complete destruction of the Syrian city of Raqqa.
