A US-backed SDF militant killed, three others injured in explosive device attack in Deir Ezzor countryside

A militant affiliated to the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) militia was killed and three others were injured in an explosive device attack carried out by popular factions in Deir Ezzor northern countryside.

Local sources told SANA that the explosive device went off targeting an SDF-affiliated car in Mheimida town, to the north of Deir Ezzor.

Attacks on the SDF militia continue across the Syrian Al-Jazira region in response to this militia’s attacks on civilians. On Thursday, the SDF militia stormed several houses in the town of Ghraneej and Al-Shheil city in Deir Ezzor eastern countryside and kidnapped a number of youths under false pretexts.
