A tribal gathering in Al-Hasakah countryside rejecting illegal presence of the American and Turkish occupation

On December 18th, a tribal gathering was held in the village of Khuwaylid, east of the city of Hasakah, with the participation of sheikhs and notables from all the tribes and clans of the governorate.

The participants expressed their rejection of the illegal presence of the American occupation and the continuous Turkish aggression against the towns and villages of the region.

Sheikh Hamed Al-Sayer of the Al-Bumanea clan affirmed that the people of the tribes and clans in Al-Hasakah stand by the Syrian Arab Army, and continue to support it because it is the only guarantor for all the people of Syria

He said: “Today’s gathering came to renew our absolute rejection of the illegal presence of the American occupier on Syrian lands.”

For his part, the sheikh of the Jabour tribe, Hassan al-Muslat, said: The clansmen will remain loyal to the homeland and categorically reject all forms of occupation that is greedy for Syrian wealth, specifically the American occupier who violates the Syrian lands on a daily basis and steals the capabilities and wealth of the homeland.”

The Sheikh of the Sharabin tribe, Sheikh Nawaf al-Daham, considered that the tribal gathering today is a message to everyone who doubts the position of the Syrian tribesmen

The sheikh of the Al-Hassoun clan, Dr. Khaled Al-Attiyah, stressed that today’s event comes within the framework of renewing our support for the Syrian Arab Army

The gathering was attended by the Governor of Hasakah, Dr. Louay Sayoh.
