A Titanic achievement! Billy shows off his artwork AND his adorable daughter at exhibition opening

He is most famous for playing Victorian tycoon Caledon Hockley in Titanic.

But it seems Billy Zane is more of a renaissance man after he showed off his handiwork at his solo art opening in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

No doubt the family man will have been even more proud to present his adorable daughter Ava to the adoring crowd as he lapped up the acclaim on his special night.

The 47-year-old looked understandably smug as he posed on the red carpet ahead of the grand opening of his Seize The Day Bedshow at G+ Gulla Jonsdottir Design.

Some of the handsome star’s old magic was clearly there as he posed in his white suit, open necked shirt and trendy thick rimmed spectacles, which he wore on his head.

Cerebral Billy said : art means more to him than simply splattering colors on a canvas.

He said: ‘For me, the act of painting is a seduction by way of a contradiction, while creating on the ground is labor-intensive work, I am somehow transported beyond the physical

‘Rather than adding layers of paint, I feel I am digging a tunnel to another land. Other times, instead of the floor I feel I am working on the ceiling.’

British fans will soon be able to see what all the fuss is about for themselves.Seize The Day Bed will open to the public in London at Rook & Raven gallery in October 11.
