A Syrian team wins advanced positions in the European Mental Arithmetic Competition in Germany
Hasakah, (ST) – A Syrian mental arithmetic team from the city of Qamishli achieved advanced positions in the European Mental Arithmetic Competition 2022, which was held in Germany via the Internet. 400 male and female students from 200 countries around the world participated in the competition.
In a statement to SANA reporter, Rawda Al-Muktaf said that, the Syrian team achieved first, second and fourth place in multiplication and third place in division.
She added that, the competition is conducted on four sports levels: multiplication, division, subtraction and addition, and in each level there are ten levels of competition.
She said that, “the Syrian team was distinguished by its quick-wittedness during the competition in the competition, which is held every year and in which a large number of children participate.”
