A Syrian rider wins grand prize of the International Show Jumping Championship in Jordan

Syrian rider Rami Shaheen won the Grand Prix title in the International Show Jumping Championship that took place recently in the Jordanian capital, Amman, and is classified in the one-star category according to the International Equestrian Federation.

The rider Shaheen managed to win the Grand Prix title in the two-day championship, by coming first in the upper category A competitions, noting that he achieved other advanced positions during the tournament. He came first in the middle category and third in the upper category in the competitions of the first day.

On the second day, Shaheen achieved first and second places in the middle category with his participation on two horses, to conclude his participation in the tournament by winning the grand prize for the upper category.
