A symposium in Yerevan on the Syrian-Armenian relations

The Syrian Embassy in Yerevan, in cooperation with the Institute of Oriental Studies at the National Academy of Sciences in the Republic of Armenia, held a symposium entitled “Relations between Syria and Armenia… Historical Links, Developments and Prospects” at the Academy’s headquarters.

The participants in the symposium discussed the historical ties between the two peoples and the two friendly countries, Syria and Armenia, and the establishment of diplomatic relations between them, stressing the importance of strengthening and developing bilateral relations in all fields.

The symposium was attended by representatives of the Arab embassies in Armenia, the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and personalities from the academic, political and scientific circles.
