Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – Dozens of Palestinians inHebron in the West Bank on Wednesday participated in a solidarity stand and called on the international community and human rights institutions to urgently intervene to save the lives of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli occupation prisons.
Wafa News Agency reported that the participants in the stand in front of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in the town of Halhul, North of Hebron, stressed the need to continue supporting the prisoners in light of the violations and brutal practices they are subjected to by the occupation, amid deliberate medical neglect against them.
About 5,300 Palestinian prisoners inside Israeli prisons face harsh detention conditions, including about 550 prisoners who need urgent medical intervention.
