Occupied Jerusalem (ST): Dozens of Palestinians, during a solidarity stand in the city of Hebron in the West Bank today, called on the international community and human rights institutions to urgently intervene to save the lives of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli occupation detention centers, especially patients and hunger strikers.
Wafa Agency stated that the participants in the stand, which was organized in the Ain Sarah area in central Hebron, raised Palestinian flags and pictures of the hunger strikers, stressing the need to continue supporting the prisoners and solidarity with them in light of the violations and brutal practices they are subjected to by the occupation, amid deliberate medical negligence against them.
About 5,000 Palestinian prisoners inside Israeli occupation detention facilities face harsh detention conditions, including about 600 prisoners who need urgent medical intervention.
