Dozens of Palestinians in the West Bank city of Al-Bireh participated in a solidarity stand in support of the hunger strikers and the rest of the prisoners in the Israeli occupation prisons.
Wafa news agency reported that the participants in the stand called by the Palestinian national forces gathered in front of the headquarters of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the city.
They raised the Palestinian flag and pictures of the prisoners on hunger strike and chanted slogans calling on the international community to move immediately to release them and stop the continuous violations of the occupation against the prisoners.
Eight Palestinian prisoners are continuing with their hunger strike in protest against the crimes of the occupation, and 5,300 Palestinian prisoners inside the occupation’s prisons are facing harsh detention conditions, including 550 prisoners who need urgent medical intervention.
