A Spanish party calls on its government to suspend diplomatic relations with “Israel”

Madrid, (ST) – The Secretary General of the Spanish Podemos Party and the Minister of Social Rights in the Spanish government Ione Pellara called for an urgent and immediate suspension of diplomatic relations with “Israel”, for the imposition of sanctions on the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and bringing him before the International Criminal Court, and for imposing an arms embargo on “Israel”.

Belara said in a statement today: I have asked the Socialist Party, our partner in the government, to take seriously the struggle against this planned genocide committed by “Israel” against the Palestinian people, and therefore we should urgently and immediately suspend diplomatic relations with “Israel”.

She also called for discussions at the European level to implement exemplary economic sanctions against all the Israelis responsible for this genocide, especially Netanyahu.

It is noteworthy that Spain currently holds the rotating presidency of the European Union.
