A sit in at Qatar ‘s Embassy in Sofia, Denouncing Support for Terrorism

 

 

 

 

Sofia – Amman ,(ST)_ The Bulgarian Committee in  defense of Syria and the Syrian community in Bulgaria organized a sit in  in front of the Qatari Embassy in the capital, Sofia, denouncing the Qatari destructive role in support of terrorists and extremist groups in Syria, taking part in the killing of the Syrian people and the destruction of their  country.

The participants in the sit in, who raised Syrian flags, expressed  full solidarity with the Syrian people , who face organized  terrorism , supported with money , weapons , and the media of some Gulf states , particularly Qatar and Saudi Arabia, and their support for the efforts undertaken by the Syrian army in order to protect the Syrians and the restoration of security and stability to Syria.

Head of the Bulgarian Committee in  Defense of Syria, handed a statement of protest to the ambassador of Qatar in Sofia , demanding his  government to  halt its support for terrorism in Syria and sending mercenaries to it through  Turkish territory and impeding efforts seeking to resolve the crisis politically and through dialogue among the Syrians.

The statement, held the government of Qatar responsible  for the fall of the victims of terrorism and the difficult conditions experienced by the Syrians and the displacement of thousands of families from their homes.

 

Jordanian Intellectuals and activists voice  solidarity , support to Syria

 

On the other hand, hundreds of Jordanian activists and intellectuals and Syrians in the Jordanian capital  yesterday held a solidarity rally in support of  the Syrian people and the leadership of the army in front of the Syrian embassy in the neighborhood of Abdoun in Amman and in condemnation of the two attacks by terrorists against a delegation of Jordanian intellectuals and writers while  returning  from Syria and the Iranian Embassy in Beirut

Member of the  Jordanian Writers Journalists  delegation , IssaShattat , who suffered head injuries in the attack ,said that ” the criminal incident against  the delegation after its  visit to Syria would not discourage writers , journalists and the people of Jordan from continuing their  support for the people of Syria.

He  stressed that ” Syria victory against  regional and international terrorism is a victory for Jordan and for its  stability and security as well.”

The  participants in  the event commended the heroism  and  sacrifices of the Syrian Arab army in the face of terrorism and denounced countries that support terrorists in Syria.

The participants signed a blood- written petition supporting Syria and its leadership.

Two participants  in the event, activists Jihad al-Ratrout and Ahmad Abu Shawish expressed appreciation to President Bashar al-Assad and the Syrian ambassador in Jordan Dr. Bahjat Suleiman .

Worthy mentioning,  that  terrorists detonated an explosive device yesterday in a bus  in rural Daraa , carrying Jordanian  writers and journalists who were on a visit to Syria , resulted in  injuring five of them .

The bus was carrying a number of Jordanian  writers , journalists , who participated in the seminar entitled  ” together on the path of national struggle – one issue and a common fate  ” held  by the Arab Writers Union in Syria and the Jordanian Writers Association and the People’s Committee in  support of  the Syrian people in Jordan on last Monday and Tuesday.
