A remote electronic platform and a garden for medicinal and aromatic plants inaugurated marking the Centenary of Damascus University 

On the occasion of the centenary of Damascus University, a remote electronic platform was launched in cooperation with the “Taazur for Development” Foundation at the university’s presidency building.

A medicinal and aromatic plants garden and a butterfly exhibition were also opened in the Faculty of Agriculture.

The educational laboratory for magnetic resonance imaging device, the high voltage laboratory, the Smart Networks Research Center and the Martyr Basil Al-Assad gymnasium in the Faculty of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering were also inaugurated.  The Center for the Development of Digital Medical Education at the Faculty of Medicine was also opened.

During the inauguration ceremony, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Bassam Ibrahim said that Damascus University is an important scientific edifice, of which the Syrians are proud.
