A recreational camp for 25 children affected by the earthquake held in the village of Al-Muzaina in the western countryside of Homs
Homs (ST): The Solidarity Foundation for Development, in cooperation with the Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor in Homs, set up a recreational camp for 25 children affected by the earthquake from Lattakia governorate for three days, at the foundation’s headquarters in the village of al-Muzaina in the western countryside of Homs.
The Director of Social Affairs and Labor, Samar Al-Mustafa, indicated in a statement to news reporter that the camp program includes entertainment for children, comprehensive medical examinations, a trip in nature, providing the necessary psychological support and everything that would remove children from a state of panic following the earthquake, and spread joy, hope and optimism in them, stressing the continuation of organizing recreational camps for children during the summer. The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Association for Development, Paul Badnian, explained that the aim of the camp is to take care of the segment of children affected by the earthquake disaster, pointing to the establishment of a number of camps during the current summer in Muzaina and Kassab and in the city of Lattakia for 250 children to provide them with full psychological and moral support, through the distribution of gifts, clothes, food, and playing with joy, so that the children live days of reassurance, peace, and comfort instead of the days they lived in fear and terror of the earthquake.
