A rally of religious ritual leaders gathered in Hama in support of the presidential elections

 On May 23rd, Sheikh Mahmoud Al-Hamid Mosque, the largest mosque in Hama, witnessed a gathering of religious leaders, in the presence of the Minister of Endowments, Dr. Muhammad Abdul Sattar Al-Sayed.

Minister Al-Sayed stressed the need for wide participation in the May 26th presidential elections to confirm the independence of the national decision and the sovereignty of Syria.

 

Minister Al-Sayed said that that participation in the elections is a national and religious duty for the people of the country who will vote for those who will lead Syria to safety.

The gathering was attended by thousands of Islamic scholars, Christian clerics, teachers of the Holy Qur’an, imams and preachers of mosques in governorate of Hama.
