A protest stand in Hasakah, denouncing cutting off water by the Turkish occupier and its terrorist groups

Hasakah, (ST) – A protest stand was organized by civil and popular communities in Hasakah governorate in denunciation of the continuation of the Turkish occupier and its terrorists of cutting off drinking water from the Allouk station for more than two months affecting about one million citizens in the province.

National flags were hoisted and placards with anti turkish occupation phrases were lifted high up in the air.Water has again been cut off  by the Turkish occupier and its mercenary of terrorists, thus depriving more than a million people living in Hasakah from their right to simply have water.

The participants of the stand issued a communique denouncing the criminal policy of the Turkish occupation and the silence of the world community in what can only be described as a heinous crime.The communique stressed the prohibition by international law of the use of water as  aweapon.It also demanded that human rights organizations face up to their responsibility in this issue bearing in mind the detrimental effect of having no water on the widespread of covid 19..
