A police officer martyred in Daraa by unknown gunmen

Damascus, ST) – A police officer was martyred and four other officers were injured as a result of being attacked by gunfire by unknown gunmen in Daraa.

The Ministry of Interior said in a statement that Major Al-Batal Muntajab Mohsen Pribdani was martyred and four other members of the police ranks of the Izraa area in Daraa were injured as a result of being shot by unknown gunmen on the Daraa highway while performing their national duty.

The Ministry said that the body of the martyr was transferred, and the injured members were treated to the National Hospital in Daraa.
