under the auspices of the General Union of Fine Artists, the Al-Adiat Association in Lattakia held a plastic celebration in memory of the late, creative Syrian artist Fida Mansour, at the association’s headquarters.
The exhibition was distinguished by the academic explanation of each participating painting or sculptural work by the plastic artist and researcher “Hussein Saqour” who is keen to spread the fine culture.
He also spoke about the late artist Fida by saying: Fida Mansour, born in 1977, a graduate of the Faculty of Arts, 1999, continued studies until 2001, and taught in institutes.
His activity increased during the crisis and he invented a new style called the circular school. The most important of his works is his mural on the wall of the Chinese Embassy in Damascus which is the largest Syrian mural.
About the artworks participating in the exhibition:
Mohamed Diop shared a painting titled Migratory Birds and Confused Eyes.
Rabbi Karkout: The portrait seems to be its main basis, in which two complementary colors have been combined.
Fred Shenkan: The literal effect was present in his work, “a horse’s head” through lines on blue backgrounds.
Ali Hussein: The female had a distinctive presence in his sculptural works, in addition to the communicative rhythm of the movement.
And other artists who participated in this special celebration, such as Hassan Muhammad – Zuhair Khalifa – Muhannad Ala`a al-deen – Talal Ali – Rana Othman and Zuhair kashour..
