On January 5th, a Palestinian was martyred after the Israeli occupation forces opened fire on him during their raid on the city of Nablus in the West Bank.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health stated that Amer Abu Zeitoun, 16, was martyred this dawn as a result of a wound caused by a bullet in the head, fired by the Israeli occupation forces during their aggression on Nablus.
Yesterday, Adam Ayyad, 16, was killed by a bullet in the chest, fired by the Israeli occupation forces, south of Bethlehem, in the West Bank.
Israeli settlers storm into Al-Aqsa Mosque
In another development, dozens of Israeli settlers on Thursday stormed into Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces.
Wafa news agency reported that 112 settlers stormed into Al-Aqsa from the Mughrabeh Gate side and carried out provocative tours in its courtyards.
The UN Security Council is holding today an emergency session to discuss the violations of the Israeli occupation and its continuous assaults on the Palestinian people, their land and their sanctities, especially in the occupied city of Al-Quds “Jerusalem”.
Occupation detains 12 Palestinians in the West Bank
Meantime, the Israeli occupation forces detained 12 Palestinians in the West Bank during raids on the neighborhoods in Jenin, Wadi al-Faraa area in Tubas, the towns of Yatta and Karma in Al-Khalil, Yabroud, Beit Rima in Ramallah, Sur Baher, and Qalandia refugee camp in Al-Quds, according to WAFA News Agency.
The occupation forces arrested on Wednesday 20 Palestinians in the West Bank.
