A Palestinian shot dead by a settler east of Ramallah

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST): A Palestinian boy died today due to an injury he sustained a few days ago when an Israeli settler shot him in the town of Silwad, east of Ramallah, in the West Bank.

WAFA news agency quoted the director of the Palestine Medical Complex, Dr. Ahmad al-Bitawi, as saying that Ramzi Hamed, 17, died this morning as a result of a severe pulmonary embolism, after being shot in the chest and abdomen by a settler three days ago in the town of Silwad.

Yesterday, three Palestinians were shot dead by the occupation forces, south of Jenin, in the West Bank.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces detained sixteen Palestinians in separate areas of the West Bank.

Wafa news agency reported that the occupation forces stormed into Al-Marah neighborhood in Jenin, Al-Tur neighborhood and Shuafat refugee camp in Al-Quds (Jerusalem), and the towns of Beit Furik in Nablus, Al-Mughayer, Beit Rima and Burqa in Ramallah, and Beit Fajjar and Al-Khader in Bethlehem, and detained sixteen Palestinians, including a wounded one.
