A Palestinian shot dead by a settler, east of Qalqilya

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – On Sunday, a Palestinian was shot dead by a settler, east of Qalqilya, in the occupied West Bank.

Wafa News Agency reported that the 18-year-old, Karam Salman, died at dawn on Sunday, when an Israeli settler shot him near a settlement built on Palestinian land, east of Qalqilya.

With Salman’s martyrdom, the number of Palestinian martyrs since the beginning of the year rises to 34.

Occupation forces arrest 8 Palestinians in the West Bank

On the other hand, the Israeli occupation forces arrested eight Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.

Wafa News Agency reported that the occupation forces stormed into several neighborhoods in Al-Quds (Jerusalem), the town of Anata, northeast of the city, and the town of Beit Ummar in Hebron, and arrested eight Palestinians.

During the past two days, the occupation forces arrested more than 50 Palestinians in the West Bank, most of them from occupied Al-Quds.

144 attacks by Israeli settlers last night in Nablus

In another development, in Nablus, a total of 144 attacks were carried out last night by Israeli settlers against Palestinian civilians and their property in the occupied West Bank province of Nablus, today said Ghassan Daghlas, a Palestinian official in charge of the settlement file in the province.

He told Wafa News Agency that fanatic settler groups hurled stones and partially damaged at least 120 vehicles on roads, while they set on fire six vehicles completely damaging them. At least 22 Palestinian-owned shops were attacked by settlers in the town of Huwwara.

Daghlas said the majority of attacks were focused on the towns of Huwwara, Madama, Qusra, Jorish and Majdal Bani Fadel.

Douglas warned of the escalation of settler attacks against Palestinians across the West Bank, noting an unprecedented increase in the frequency of terror attacks against Palestinian citizens and their property.
