A Palestinian prisoner dies in the occupation detention centers as a result of deliberate medical negligence

Occupied Jerusalem (ST): A Palestinian prisoner was martyred at dawn today as a result of deliberate medical negligence in the Israeli occupation prisons.

The Prisoner’s Club said in a statement, according to the Palestinian Wafa Agency, that prisoner Ahmed Abu Ali, 48 years old, and father of nine children, from the city of Yatta, south of Hebron, detained since 2012, suffered over the years from several diseases and chronic health problems in the heart, diabetes, and others, and this was accompanied by procrastination and negligence. deliberately by the occupation authorities in providing him with the necessary treatment, and in conducting medical examinations, which led to his death at dawn today.

The statement stressed that what happened with the prisoner Abu Ali is a crime added to a long list of unfinished crimes that the occupation is carrying out with systematic tools, adding: The crimes of torture and medical negligence constitute the most prominent and dangerous of these tools, and they were the main reason for the death of many prisoners during the past few years. He called on the international community to assume its responsibilities and hold the occupation officials accountable for their crimes against Palestinian prisoners.
