Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – A Palestinian was martyred at dawn today when the Israeli occupation forces storm into Al-Bireh city in the West Bank.
Wafa News Agency reported that the occupation forces stormed into al-Bireh city and opened fire on Palestinians and their homes, leading to the martyrdom of a 20-year-old man.
A Palestinian was martyred the day before yesterday by Israeli occupation forces after carrying out a heroic operation in the territories occupied in 1948, which resulted in the injury of 4 occupation soldiers and settlers.
Occupation forces detain 20 Palestinians in the West Bank
On the other hand, the Israeli occupation forces detained 20 Palestinians today in areas of the West Bank.
Wafa News Agency reported that the occupation forces stormed several neighborhoods in Nablus, al-Shuweika suburb in Tulkarm, the towns of Abu Nujaym in Bethlehem, Deir Samet, Al-Samu and al-Arroub camp in Al-Khalil (Hebron) and detained 20 Palestinians.
Dozens of settlers also stormed into Al-Aqsa Mosque and carried out provocative tours in its courtyards under the protection of the occupation forces, which turned the Old City of Al-Quds (Jerusalem) into a military barracks, where hundreds of soldiers were deployed, especially at the gates of Al-Aqsa, and imposed strict restrictions on the entry of Palestinians into the mosque.
Palestinian Resistance carries out heroic operation east of Tulkarm
In another development, three Israeli settlers were injured on Tuesday in a heroic operation carried out by the Palestinian resistance near the town of Ramin, east of Tulkarm city in the West Bank, in response to the crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people.
Palestinian media reported that a young man opened fire at a group of settlers near the town, wounding three of them, while the young man managed to withdraw.
The occupation forces stormed into several houses in the town, deployed snipers on the roofs, forced farmers to leave their lands in the southern area, and closed all entrances to the town, while settlers gathered at its main entrance and prevented Palestinians from passing.
