Occupied Al-Quds, (ST)- A Palestinian was martyred today due to serious wounds sustained yesterday by Israeli occupation forces’ shelling on the city of Jenin in the West Bank.
WAFA News Agency reported that the director of Jenin Governmental Hospital, Wissam Bakr said that a young man was martyred in Rafidia Hospital in Nablus, due to his critical injuries after the occupation’s drones bombed a car carrying five young Palestinians in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin.
The national action factions in the city of Jenin today called for a general strike in mourning over the martyrs of Jenin, its camp and its towns, and in condemnation of the occupation’s crimes against the Palestinians.
The number of martyrs in the occupied West Bank since October 7th has risen to 617, including 144 children, in addition to more than 5,400 wounded.
Occupation forces detain 17 Palestinians in the Occupied West Bank
In another development, the Israeli occupation forces today detained 17 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.
Wafa News Agency reported that the occupation forces stormed into several neighborhoods in the city of Qalqilya, Aqabat Jaber camps in Ariha (Jericho) and Qalandia in Al-Quds, the towns of Allar and Zeita in Tulkarm, and Doha and Deheishe camp in Bethlehem, and detained 17 Palestinians.
The occupation forces detained 15 Palestinians yesterday in different areas in the occupied West Bank.
