Israeli forces demolish two houses northwest of Jericho
On the other hand in Nablus, the Israeli occupation authorities today demolished two houses in the village of Al-Duyouk Al-Tahta, northwest of the city of Jericho, and issued demolition notices for two other houses.
Our correspondent reported that the occupation forces, accompanied by heavy bulldozers, stormed into Al-Duyouk Al-Tahta and demolished two houses under construction under the pretext that they were built without a license, adding that the occupation forces delivered two notices to two other houses.
This demolition comes despite the decision of the occupation authorities about two weeks ago to freeze the demolition of 32 houses in Al-Duyouk Al-Tahta.
The village of Al-Duyouk Al-Tahta is subjected to continuous demolition operations by the occupation as part of the policy of forced displacement aimed at emptying the area of its people in favor of colonial expansion.
According to the Wall and Settlement Authority, the occupation forces have demolished nearly 500 houses and facilities in the West Bank since October 7.
