A Palestinian delegation visits the occupied Syrian Golan

On June 18th, a delegation from the1948 occupied Palestinian territories visited the occupied Syrian Golan, within the framework of communication between the Syrian and Palestinian peoples.

The delegation expressed confidence in the inevitability of victory over the Zionist occupier and the liberation of the occupied territories, including the Golan.

The delegation representing the Palestinian “Mawtani”Homeland  group started the visit from the village of Bekaatha towards Birkat Ram and to thevillage of Gweizeh to the site of Ain al-Tineh.

The delegation was briefed about the suffering of the people of the Golan as a result of the practices of the Zionist occupation against them since its occupation in 1967.

They also visited the village of Ain Qinya and its church and the house of Youssef Munther, who presented the delegation with the history of the village and the struggle of the people of the occupied Golan in the face of the Zionist occupation.

Ibtisam Suleiman, the organizer of the visit from the Mawtani group, said that this visit to the occupied Golan is not the first, stressing that with each visit there is renewed longing and nostalgia for the land that suffers the same as the suffering of the Palestinians.

The Mawtani group have participated in marches that included Palestine from north to south to reach the occupied Golan in a message from the people of the occupied land stressing the unity of the position and confronting the Israeli occupation.
