A number of wounded personnel from Russia and Iraq arrived in Syria to participate in the “Jareeh Watan” Sports Games

DAMASCUS, (ST)_A number of wounded personnel from Russia and Iraq arrived on Wednesday in  Syria to participate in the 1st  Homeland Wounded (Jareeh Watan)  Sports Games to be held in Lattakia between the 20th  and 25th  of August.
 
The Russian delegation includes a number of the wounded personnel and their companions to participate in weightlifting and table tennis competitions.
 
According to a statement published by the Homeland Wounded Project on its Facebook account on Sunday , the wounded personnel will compete in swimming, table tennis, basketball, badminton, athletics and physical strength games.
