A number of US-backed SDF militants killed and injured in an attack by unidentified persons

DEIR EZZOR, (ST)- Unidentified persons on Saturday attacked the positions and vehicles of the US occupation-backed Kurdish militia called Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the eastern and northeastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

According to local sources the unidentified persons opened their machinegun fire on a car that belongs to SDF militia in the village of Ghariba al-Sharqeya in Deir Ezzor northern countryside. An SDF militant was killed and two others were wounded in the attack.

In Deir Ezzor eastern countryside, unidentified persons targeted one of the SDF positions in Zeiban town with an explosive device, injuring a number of militants.

In the meantime in Raqqa, the US-backed SDF militia shelled the village of al-Alwa, to the west of Tal Abyad in Raqqa northern countryside, injuring three civilians and causing damage to public and private properties, SANA reporter said citing local sources.

Most areas in the countryside of Deir Ezzor, Hasaka and Raqqa, which are held by SDF militia, are witnessing a state of public anger over this militia’s aggressive practices and acts of looting Syria’s oil and other resources under the cover of the US occupation.
