A number of SDF militiamen were killed and wounded in two separate attacks

On November 21st, a number of the US-backed SDF militiamen were killed and wounded in two separate attacks carried out by the popular factions in the countryside of al-Hasakah and Deir Ezzor.

Local sources said that the popular factions in al-Hasakah targeted a four-wheel drive vehicle carrying a number of SDF militiamen on the road between the villages of Abu Manasib andal-Rukabiya in al- in al-Hasakah countryside, after they raided several houses in al-Rukabiya village.

The sources added that the attack led to the burning of the car and the injury of a number of militiamen, who imposed a security cordon around the target area.

 

In the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, local sources said that a group of popular factions targeted with automatic weapons one of the checkpoints of the SDF militias in the town of Suwaidan, which led to the death of one of the militia’s gunmen.

Last Thursday, a number of SDF militiamen were injured as a result of an attack carried out by the popular factions with an explosive device on Abyad Road in the southwestern countryside of al-Hasakah.
