A number of SDF militiamen injured in attack in Hasaka countryside

On January 6th, a number of the US-backed SDF militiamen were injured as a result of the targeting of their military vehicle with an explosive device in al-Houlvillage in the eastern countryside of Hasaka.

Local sources said that the popular factions targeted the military vehicle as it was passing near the Tishreen oil field in the al-Houlvillage in the eastern countryside.

The sources indicated that the SDF militiamen brought in reinforcements and imposed a security cordon around the area.

The attacks on the positions of the SDF militias have taken an escalating trend for several months, during which dozens of their militants were killed in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor, Hasaka and Raqqa.
