A number of Palestinians injured by Israeli gunfire in anti-settlement demonstration

Occupied Jerusalem (ST): A number of Palestinians were wounded today and others suffered from suffocation conditions as a result of the Israeli forces of occupation’s repression of the weekly demonstration staged in Kafr Qaddoum, to the east of Qalqilyah in the West Bank, demanding the opening  of the street of the village which has been closed for 16 years.

The coordinator of Popular Resistance in Kafr Qaddoum Murad Shtaiwi said that the Israeli soldiers broke out into the village and opened fire and  threw toxic gas bombs on  the participants in the demonstration which was organized in solidarity with the people of Beita town to the South of Nablus in their confrontation of the expansionist settlement activities.
