On May 17th, two Palestinians were injured by the shelling of the Israeli occupation forces on the besieged Gaza Strip.

Palestinian media reported that the Israeli occupation air forces targeted Palestinian homes in Al Batoun Street in Deir Al-Balah in the middle of the Strip with a number of rockets, wounding two Palestinians.

The occupation warplanes targeted Palestinian homes in Khan Yunis, in the south of the Gaza Strip, Jabalia refugee camp, Beit Lahiya in the north, and the Bureij and Nuseirat camps in the middle.

The Israeli occupation artillery bombed separate areas in Jabalia in the north of the Gaza Strip and Rafah in the south, which led to fire in a sponge factory, a number of houses and areas of Palestinian agricultural lands.

The firefighting teams face difficulty in putting off  the fires due to the continuous shelling of the occupation on the Strip.

The number of victims of the continuous Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip rose for the eighth day in a row to 201 martyrs, including 57 children, and more than 1,235 wounded.

The occupation air forces renewed their bombardment in several areas in the besieged Gaza Strip, wounding a number of Palestinians, including women and children.
