A number of civilians are injured as a result of the SDF firing on a demonstration in the countryside of Deir Ezzor
On September 12th, a number of civilians were injured when groups of the US-backed SDF militias fired live bullets at a protest demonstration against the militias in the town of Al-Sabha in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
Civil sources said that the people of Al-Sabha town protested against the repressive practices of the SDF militias and its continued theft of the region’s resources and wealth, in addition to the security chaos in its areas of control.
The sources said that the SDF militias tried to disperse the
demonstrators by firing live bullets indiscriminately at them, which led to a number of injuries among the residents.
It is noteworthy that the people of Deir ez-Zorand al-Hasakah have staged many demonstrations over the past months denouncing the practices of the SDF militias.
