A number of captives from Gaza Strip martyred in an occupation detention center

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – A number of Palestinian captives, who were detained by the Israeli occupation forces in Gaza Strip, were martyred during its ongoing aggression against it since the seventh of last October.

Palestinian media quoted the Zionist newspaper “Haaretz” as saying: Hundreds of detainees from the Gaza Strip, including children and the elderly, are being held inside a detention facility established in a military site for the occupation near the city of Beersheba in the territories occupied in 1948. It said that some of the detainees died inside the detention facility where they face difficult conditions. They spend most of the day handcuffed and blindfolded.

The newspaper pointed out that a number of detainees were transferred to other detention centers, while women and girls arrested by the occupation were transferred from the Gaza Strip to one of its military sites near the occupied city of Al-Quds (Jerusalem).

For its part, the Commission for Ex-Prisoners’ Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club sent an urgent appeal to the world and international human rights institutions to pressure the occupation to reveal the fate of prisoners from the Gaza Strip, and to stop the crime of enforced disappearance against them.
