A new settlement plan for Israeli occupation to establish 381 settlement units in Salfit

The Israeli occupation authorities announced a plan to establish a new settlement on the lands of Deir Istiya town in the city of Salfit in the West Bank.

The Applied Research Institute “ARIJ” stated in a statement today, reported by Wafa Agency, that the plan includes the seizure of 259 dunums of the town’s lands to establish 381 settlement units in the new settlement, in addition to a network of roads to connect them with the surrounding settlements in the area.

He pointed out that the site of the new settlement is in the middle of two settlements established by the occupation west and east of the area, which means that it is trying to create a settlement gathering that includes the three settlements with a fourth settlement on the southern side.
