The new collection of short stories by the writer Oscar Wilde, which was translated by Mounir Al-Rifa’i, included different topics in which the author combined reality and fiction related to the human soul and its transformation in a way that suits young people.
The stories, whose cover and contents were drawn by the artist Qahtan Al-Talaa, came in an easy and interesting style, to be closer to the young recipient, and artistically corresponded to what the artist drew in expressing the meanings of the stories
They focused on goodness, love and beauty in social interaction, supporting human values and rejecting ugliness, harm and human hatred to reach a society worthy of appreciation and respect.
The stories do not exploit innocence and criticize selfishness, arrogance, mockery of others .They also do not seek to ridicule positive behavior,
These five stories are apt for children and young people, with their distinctive topics, interesting style and fertile imagination.
The stories reveal the depths of the human soul , celebrate sacrifice for others, the spread of love and the spirit of cooperation to improve society in addition to criticizing selfishness, arrogance, exploitation of people’s innocence and kindness, mockery and ridicule of others.
The new collection of stories was issued by the Syrian General Organization of Books .
