A new book by Dr. Najah Al-Attar full of visions linking the past to the present

No person is able to address, talk about, and draw lessons from eras of our contemporary history, as someone who has experienced and observed them closely. This is what Dr. Najah Al-Attar, Vice President of the Republic, has been doing for many years. She issued a set of books that includes documentation of her years of official, national, cultural and literary work. Her latest publications in this field is the book “Days We Lived, and Now are History.”

Because history repeats itself in various ways, Dr. Al-Attar found it useful to republish articles she wrote since the second half of the seventies and the first half of the eighties, because of what they carried of reference to the features of a conspiracy contrived against our nation that turned into practice.

“These articles have been republished because they embody the conscious awareness of the conspiracies contrived against our nation, not only against Syria”,  Al-Attar said, considering that these articles written in the past represented the first beginnings of the ongoing events. These articles shed light on what the enemies have prepared for us  in the present, forgetting that history will not be theirs and  that peoples will inevitably defend their homeland and their rights.

Because the conspiracy against Syria, which Al-Attar experienced in the eighties of the last century, was repeated in another way in the past decade, she confirms to today’s readers the unparalleled stability and steadfastness that Syria possesses.

The 335- page book’s first volume was issued by the Syrian General Book Organization.  and is located in 335 of the large pieces.
