Today, the branch of the Syrian Family Forum Foundation in the governorate of Sweida organized a national event in front of the city council, in which civil, youth and official activities participated, to condemn the unjust siege imposed on the Syrian people.
The event included signing a document demanding that the United Nations and the international community take effective action, to lift the unilateral coercive sanctions imposed on the Syrian people.
The participants in the event raised national flags and banners denouncing the so-called (Caesar’s Law) and affirmed their adherence to stances, constants, national unity.
The participants called on the international community and the United Nations to take effective action to lift the inhumane and immoral blockade on the Syrian people and end their human suffering.
They also expressed their denunciation of the illegal American occupation of Syrian lands, the looting and theft of national wealth, and all the suspicious calls targeting the unity, sovereignty and dignity of the country.
The participants stressed the need to stand united behind the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad and the Syrian Arab Army, in order to liberate every inch of the country and preserve its unity and restore its security and stability.
The head of the Board of Trustees of the Syrian Family Forum, Ahed Sharifa, stated that this stand, which started from the governorate of Sweida will continue to include all governorates, in order to send a message to the world to demand from and appeal to the United Nations to lift sanctions on Syria.
The secretary of the Syrian Family Forum in Sweida , Moufid Jaafar, said: We, as a Syrian family, are present as a gathering of families, notables, sheikhs, and intellectuals across the homeland to find a better tomorrow and sign a document, to lift the unjust siege on the Syrian people.
Both Shibli Al-Shaer and Asaad Al-Shiblstressed the need to raise the voice by all honorable people in Syria and the world, and to take serious action to end the sanctions imposed on the Syrian people and to call on the United Nations to take its role in tha.
Citizens Majd Hamza, Akram Al-Barouki and Hikmat Al-Ashaush called for lifting the unfair sanctions imposed on Syria, which increased the suffering of the Syrian people.
At the end of the event, the participants went to the front of the governorate building, and began to sign a document to lift the siege and sanctions on Syria.
